Antes de eu pensar em Lord Tennyson, eu pensei muito em Lord Byron. O que eu quero dizer com isso? Uriel Arcanjo é também conhecido como Anjo da Morte, antes que se fale qualquer bobagem no Paraíso Perdido. A questão é: o pressentimento de alguns fatos como posso exemplificar dizendo para o POTUS que não aceitaria outro JFK antes dos fatos ocorridos com o Presidente Donald Trump que lhe deu qualquer coceira na orelha, eu me perguntava certo dia, sobre muitos convidados queridos da empresa onde meu trabalhava se hospedarem em um famoso Caesar’s do Rio de Janeiro, comandado por uma família de japoneses, que eu suponho ter conhecido depois em São Paulo na minha segunda graduação em Ciências Sociais. O fato é que eu nunca tinha me feito a pergunta sobre essa família, nem no tempo que supostamente convivemos. E um dia eu viro para um colega da Agência e pergunto, mas quem é “a equipe da JAL” atual? Queria dizer os proprietários do Caesar’s do Rio de Janeiro. Isso gerou um único outro fato singular, outra vez, o tal pressentimento que nunca é evitável, e anda sozinho comigo quanto a milhares de eventos cotidianos, a exemplo do Presidente Abe que eu lembro um dia talvez antes, falando de Dreams de FleetwoodMac, uma postagem do gênero, como tudo não foi evitável, “a equipe da JAL” foi absolutamente evitável em certa medida, se prestadas sempre as condolências para a Guarda-Costeira na pista, o que eu passei a chamar de Batayaki. São os dois únicos eventos que eu tenho notícia de ter conseguido evitar algo, e ainda assim alguém deve ter dito que esse “Spirit” é uma tremenda fria. Como o Amy Winehouse me foi, na sua ultima noite ela me pergunta pq estava preocupado com ela, e eu respondo: Porque eu acho que você deveria levar as crianças na escola.

Before I thought about Lord Tennyson, I thought a lot about Lord Byron. What do I mean by that? Uriel the Archangel is also known as the Angel of Death, before anyone talks any nonsense about Paradise Lost. The point is: the premonition of certain events, as I can exemplify by telling the POTUS that I wouldn’t accept another JFK before the events with President Donald Trump that made him itch. I wondered one day about many dear guests of the company where I worked staying at a famous Caesar’s in Rio de Janeiro, run by a Japanese family, whom I suppose I met later in São Paulo during my second undergraduate degree in Social Sciences. The fact is, I had never asked myself the question about this family, not even during the time we supposedly spent together. And one day I turned to a colleague at the Agency and asked, but who is the current “JAL team”? I meant the owners of Caesar’s in Rio de Janeiro. This generated another singular fact, once again, that premonition that is never avoidable, and it’s the same with me when it comes to thousands of everyday events, like President Abe, whom I remember the day before, talking about Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams,” a post like that, since everything wasn’t avoidable, “the JAL crew” was absolutely avoidable to a certain extent, if one always offered condolences to the Coast Guard on the runway, which I’ve come to call Batayaki. These are the only two events I’m aware of that I managed to avoid, and yet someone must have said that this “Spirit” is a terrible cold. Like Amy Winehouse was to me, on her last night she asked me why I was worried about her, and I replied: Because I think you should take the kids to school.
