Se na TV Cultura meu personagem favorito era o “Mau Com Sua Risada Fatal” que morava na minha sala no canto diagonalmente oposto a minha mesa, mas eu juro que virou pela vida meu preferido, na TV Globo virou o “Jaca Paladium”, por razões várias, em geral Jaca, do programa infantil da minha infância na TV Globo, contava histórias inacreditáveis para três crianças em casa, que nunca acreditavam em nada, até que eis que ele surgia na casa das crianças com uma motosserra. Ocorre que são dois momentos históricos distintos, eu me lembro que quando comecei na TV Cultura, haviam acabado de lançar o Orkut, e hoje em dia, como comentarista privado da Rede Globo, em geral todo mundo tem Instagram com alguma opção polemica de si, se não apenas a discussão dos próprios temas que propõe na empresa em outro espaço. Muito aparenta uma quebra de gelo, aquele repórter sério em geral tenta mitigar alguma coisa tentando parecer descontraído, engraçado, o próprio Bonner no principio do Twitter era exemplo de contador de piadas. Mas que eles apareçam na casa de um telespectador que diz: É mentira! Como aquelas crianças da TV Colosso, virou outro tempo e outro tipo de interação a mais curiosa possível. Especialmente quando você nem tá na verdade falando assim de publico.

No limite, é muito comum os logotipos de tvs em todo o mundo parecerem olhos. Imagine se você assiste 24 horas na tv e na internet, coisas recheadas de muito “freestyle”, por assim dizer. Eu costumo contar uma história tristíssima, lembrei quando topei Amanda Nguyen uma amiga vietnamita da NASA, que conta que na Guerra do Vietnam os soldados americanos arrasavam as vilas, estupravam as mulheres, tacavam fogo nas casas com seus Zippos inventados para isso, e deixavam um cartão da CBS, que queria dizer: “Estamos de Olho!” Quer dizer, num dia que nem hoje, falar de poderes, suas interpretações, e associações a governos ou o que for, tende a parecer isso. E como eu sempre digo, há claramente o risco de alguém entender o que nem mesmo foi dito, mas que venham a arrasar vilas ou vidas assim, tem algum limite do que sejam todos os poderes e seu exercício. Até os propriamente ditos poderes, hoje é um dia que o legislativo tirou sua televisão do ar.

But then they appear in the home of a viewer who says: “It’s a lie!” Like those kids from TV Colosso, it’s become another time and another type of interaction, the most curious possible. Especially when you’re not actually talking about the public in that sense.

Ultimately, it’s very common for TV logos around the world to look like eyes. Imagine if you watch 24 hours a day on TV and the internet, things filled with a lot of “freestyle,” so to speak. I usually tell a very sad story, I remembered when I met Amanda Nguyen, a Vietnamese friend from NASA, who recounts that in the Vietnam War, American soldiers razed villages, raped women, set fire to houses with their Zippos invented for that purpose, and left a CBS card that meant: “We’re Watching!” That is to say, in a day like today, talking about powers, their interpretations, and associations with governments or whatever, tends to seem like that. And as I always say, there’s clearly a risk of someone misunderstanding something that wasn’t even said, but that they might end up destroying villages or lives like that, there’s a limit to what all powers are and how they are exercised. Even the powers themselves, today is a day when the legislature took its television off the air.
