A discussão o dia inteiro na imprensa brasileira e no congresso nacional brasileiro é se devemos empregar a palavra terrorismo, eu já falei disso aqui no segundo post do Governo Bolsonaro ( Liberalization of the arms trade and domestic terrorism. https://coexistencelaw.org/?p=28 ). Na média falava das duas principais facções criminosas conhecidas no país, que na data uma tomou uma cidade inteira, enquanto metralhava a delegacia de policia, e explodia os bancos, e outra sutilmente também era notícia na sua ingerência no sistema prisional. A questão é: estamos suando de saber que sim, assim como temos certeza absoluta que o termo por si só não ajuda. É esse o ponto, a terminologia não vai ajudar ninguém. Ao menos ao ponto que todos também se debatem, se há ou não soberania, é outro ponto absurdo, sabemos que não da mesma forma que sabemos que a houve uma imensa concertação nacional que pretendia como é, pensar um grupo de esquerda e um grupo de direita, e como tudo é capaz que alguém que diz que o traficante é menos perigoso que o usuário, ganhe novamente as eleições por isso, no que ninguém quer falar em um narco estado, muito menos considerar esse fato, não se discerne no pais a politica do crime. No fundo é isso a dificuldade imensa, você tem três xerifes intocáveis no combate a um grupo, e de repente ao lado altas lideranças de outro, discernir é dificílimo, a vantagem da terminologia não existe, e existiu por uma eternidade até esse limite de se gabar como narco estado, que o trafico era menos danoso, houve em um imenso intervalo de tempo a omissão de territórios inteiros que só poderiam conferir paz temporária. Como vemos e como não sabemos nem como chamar, e nem honestamente se pode dizer que isso vem na completa isenção de ideologia internamente. Pior que o termo, é o desespero de não ter solução, ou a quem pedir ajuda. É desesperador por si só essa altura do campeonato, mas que o desespero não nos tenha sido constante é mentira. E só aumenta.

The discussion all day long in the Brazilian press and the Brazilian National Congress is whether we should use the word terrorism. I already talked about this in the second post about the Bolsonaro government (Liberalization of the arms trade and domestic terrorism. https://coexistencelaw.org/?p=28). On average, it discussed the two main known criminal factions in the country, one of which took over an entire city, while machine-gunning the police station and blowing up banks, and the other, subtly, also making headlines for its interference in the prison system. The point is: we are sweating with the knowledge that yes, we should, just as we are absolutely certain that the term itself doesn’t help. That’s the point; terminology won’t help anyone. At least to the point that everyone is also debating, whether or not there is sovereignty is another absurd point. We know that it doesn’t exist, just as we know that there was a huge national agreement that intended, as it is, to create a left-wing group and a right-wing group. And as everything is, it’s possible that someone who says that the drug trafficker is less dangerous than the user will win the elections again for that reason. No one wants to talk about a narco-state, much less consider that fact. The politics of crime are not discerned in the country. Ultimately, that’s the immense difficulty: you have three untouchable sheriffs fighting one group, and suddenly, alongside them, high-ranking leaders of another. Discerning is extremely difficult. The advantage of terminology doesn’t exist, and it existed for an eternity, even to the point of boasting about being a narco-state, that drug trafficking was less harmful. For a vast period of time, entire territories were neglected, territories that could only provide temporary peace. As we see, and as we don’t even know what to call it, and honestly, it can’t be said that this comes from a complete lack of internal ideology. Worse than the term itself is the despair of having no solution, or no one to ask for help. This stage of the game is desperate enough in itself, but to say that despair hasn’t been constant is a lie. And it only gets worse.
