I have two photos here of the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, one from Paris and the other from Tokyo. This one might be more illuminating for some of my fiction, especially since in the other from Tokyo, I tell an episode about the fall of a centuries-old tree. And here in Paris, I don’t propose many interpretations, but they exist in my fiction. Namely, at the opening ceremony of the Paris Games, you can see the wings of an Angel and Horsemen. This is quite common in my fiction, and there’s no shortage of the idea, from the same creatively invented source, that the so-called Angel who holds the fire, the Flame of God, or Uriel the Archangel, would also be one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. This fiction is almost entirely the result of a creative, if not confusing, combination of biblical texts. It’s a mixture of texts from almost the same source in an inventive way. But in general, I tend to say that Christianity is essentially Platonic. That’s very interesting; in general, I’m one of those who believe that the deepest inspiration of biblical texts is Greek, from Greek authors. And in this sense, I wanted to note why, beyond these many fictions, I’m passionate about the Olympic torch saga, and I have more than one opening image from the Olympics here in the album. The notable fact for fiction would be the connection between this Angel who holds the fire, the Flame of God, or Uriel the Archangel. He’s not mentioned by name in the official cânons, but simply at the end of the biblical text as “the one who holds the fire.” In the Olympia ceremony that takes place before all the games in Greece for the lighting of the torch, or the Olympic cauldron, it refers to Apollo. In other words, in my study of the arts, which is a fictional construction of this one who holds the fire, the spirit of Apollo is also Uriel the Archangel, or the Flame of God.

Eu tenho aqui duas fotos de abertura dos Jogos Olímpicos, essa de Paris a outra de Tokyo, talvez essa seja mais elucidativa de algumas ficções minhas, até porque a outra de Tokyo eu conto um episódio da queda de uma arvore centenária. E aqui em Paris não proponho muitas interpretações, mas elas existem em minhas ficções. Qual seja, avista-se na abertura do Jogos de Paris as asas de um Anjo e Cavaleiros, essa é bastante frequente em minhas ficções e não falta de mesma fonte bem inventada criativamente a idéia de que o chamado Anjo que detém o fogo, Chama de Deus, ou Uriel Arcanjo, seria também um dos quatro Cavaleiros do Apocalipse. Essa ficção é quase na sua integralidade fruto da combinação criativa, para não dizer até confusa, de textos bíblicos. É uma mistura de textos quase da mesma fonte de forma inventiva. Mas muito em geral eu costumo dizer que Cristianismo é essencialmente Platonico. Isso muito interessante, de forma geral eu sou dos que acredita que inspiração mais profunda dos textos bíblico é grega, de autores gregos. E nesse sentido apenas que eu queria observar o porque além dessas muitas ficções, sou apaixonado pela saga da tocha Olímpica, e tenho aqui no álbum mais de uma imagem de abertura de Olimpíadas. O fato notável para ficção seria a relação desse Anjo que detém o fogo, da Chama de Deus, ou Uriel Arcanjo, não é tido nos cânons oficiais por nome, mas simplesmente lá no fim do texto bíblico como “aquele que detém o fogo”, vai na cerimonia de Olympia que acontece antes de todos os jogos na Grécia para acendimento da tocha, ou da pira Olímpica, remeter a Apolo. Ou seja, no meu estudo de artes, que é um construção ficcional deste que detém o fogo, que o espirito de Apolo seja também Uriel Arcanjo, ou a Chama de Deus.
