What’s drawing my attention to so many of these facts is, initially, a message that I understood as the most ecumenical I’ve encountered. Then, it’s the fact that I always have my intuitions, not about something bad, but, for example, that I’m not wrong about the person
I ask for help from. It’s curious that even when answering an Oxford quiz, when asked about topics, this is the fact, I owe it to the ability to talk about two topics that were on my mind, like clearly explaining some geopolitical stance, or some truncated communication, each in a separate post. I remember the Alaska Airlines door nailed shut by “Spirit,” which was right after JAL’s Batayaki; things go in pairs, you know.
But I still didn’t know about Trump’s meeting with Putin in Alaska tomorrow, Melinda French Gates’s birthday, (for example, which I even remembered through Arlindo Cruz), on the same day. When Leo XIV was elected, I was already in a rush to avoid discussing certain facts, but I found Melinda’s congratulations to Leo XIV to be the most ecumenical thing, even though I didn’t know if she was Catholic or not. As tomorrow, her birthday, will be an ecumenical day for the world in Alaska.
