A essa altura dos fatos na COP30 no Brasil, eu tenho um pouco para mim o que já disse aqui no começo, no encontro de lideres mundiais, deve-se colocar a mesa e como destinatário final de recursos a Embrapa, numa circunstancia que pasto mais produtivo é menor pressão na fronteira de desmatamento, patentes e desenvolvimento de sementes, deve-se colocar na mesa o CNPq, se dispor a se embrenhar na floresta tropical para fazer um doutorado deve ser remunerado, patentes e antibióticos, e deve se colocar na mesa o INPE, sensoriamento e cumprimento de metas, como os grandes entes nacionais que me ocorrem, para na realidade, quem investe ter finalidade, rastreabilidade, e mais que isso efeito multiplicador. Uma das notícias de hoje atine a OPEP+ e a produção do SAF na verdade, essa uma imagem clássica do Saphismo, representado na florzinha na Rockefeller Chapel em Chicago. Qual a questão? O o Sustainable Aviation Fuel, falando sério, nos remete a plantações extensivas de cana de açucar, que não raro, pensemos as vezes na qualidade do ar no Oeste Pauista, são plantações causadoras de imensas queimadas. Surgiu no noticiário a posição da Arábia Saudita, mas de fundo, a questão que nos inclui na OPEP+ é controversa.

At this point in the COP30 in Brazil, I’m somewhat convinced of what I said earlier, at the meeting of world leaders: the table should be set, with Embrapa as the ultimate recipient of resources, given that more productive pasture means less pressure on the deforestation frontier; patents and seed development; CNPq should be on the table, with those willing to venture into the rainforest to pursue a doctorate being remunerated; patents and antibiotics; and INPE should be on the table, with remote sensing and meeting targets, as well as the major national entities that come to mind, so that those who invest have a purpose, traceability, and, more than that, a multiplier effect. One of today’s news items concerns OPEC+ and the production of agroforestry systems; in fact, this is a classic image of Saphism, represented by the little flower at Rockefeller Chapel in Chicago. What’s the issue? Seriously speaking, the term “Sustainable Aviation Fuel” brings to mind extensive sugarcane plantations, which, considering the air quality in western São Paulo state, are often the cause of immense wildfires.
